We think that makes sense, and it's what we were trying to do when we were stuffing bigger tires into our existing frames and swapping in aftermarket forks to get a 40mm tire up front. The flip-chip in the fork-we call it the Trail Mixer-keeps the trail measurement consistent whether you choose 700c or 650b tires. This maintains the bike's personality and handling characteristics when you switch from mid-fats to full-fat. The Infinito is the ultimate endurance bike. Its geometry has been optimized for WorldTour one-day classics, providing maximum performance with minimum stress for long distances. It also proves to be the ideal gran fondo machine — for a long day in the saddle the full carbon frame and fork create a bike that is as good to ride as it is to look at. Disc power The Infinito XE is exclusively built for disc brakes with flat mount calipers. Thru axles both front and rear ensure no stress to the frame caused by braking, and with a tire width compatibility up to 32mm, the Infinito XE is capable of taking you further than ever before. Integrated design The clean lines of the bike are maintained with all hydraulic cables routed internally, while the dedicated alloy seatpost has been developed for the ultimate streamlined, integrated look. Speaking of streamlined, the alloy stem and spacers have been created by Bianchi for a better head tube connection, with the tapered headtube providing stability at speed and under braking. Additionally, the characteristics of the bike are maintained across frame sizes.
